Σκυλί καταδικάστηκε σε θάνατο με λιθοβολισμό

Δικαστήριο Ραβίνων δικάζει το πνεύμα ενός κοσμικού δικηγόρου που προσέβαλε τους δικαστές του, 20 έτη πριν, και μετενσαρκώθηκε στο σώμα ενός σκύλου.

Ένα δικαστήριο Ραβίνων της Ιερουσαλήμ καταδίκασε πρόσφατα ένα περιπλανώμενο σκυλί σε θάνατο με λιθοβολισμό. Η σκληρή πρόταση προήλθε από την υποψία ότι το πνεύμα ενός διάσημου κοσμικού δικηγόρου, ο οποίος προσέβαλε το «δικαστήριο και τους δικαστές του»  20 έτη πριν, μετενσαρκώθηκε στο σώμα του σκύλου.

Αρκετές εβδομάδες πριν, σύμφωνα με τον ιστοχώρο Behadrei Hadarim, ένα μεγάλο σκυλί εισήλθε στο δικαστήριο νομισματικών υποθέσεων κοντά στην υπέρ-ορθόδοξη γειτονιά Mea Shearim. Το σκυλί φόβισε τους επισκέπτες του και, προς έκπληξή τους, ηρνείτο  να φύγει ακόμα και αφού προσπάθησαν να το οδηγήσουν μακριά.

Ένας από τους δικαστές ξαφνικά θυμήθηκε ότι περίπου 20 έτη πριν, ένας διάσημος κοσμικός δικηγόρος που προσέβαλε το δικαστήριο, αναθεματίστηκε  από την επιτροπή των δικαστών, οι οποίοι διέταξαν το πνεύμα του να μετενσαρκωθεί στο σώμα ενός σκυλιού (που θεωρείται από τους Halacha ακάθαρτο ζώο). Ο δικηγόρος πέθανε αρκετά έτη πριν.

 Ένας από τους δικαστές καταδίκασε το φτωχό ζώο σε θάνατο δια λιθοβολισμού, στρατολογώντας τα παιδιά της γειτονιάς να εκτελέσουν τη διαταγή. Ευτυχώς, το σκυλί κατόρθωσε να δραπετεύσει.

Ο προϊστάμενος του δικαστηρίου, ραβίνος Avraham Dov Levin, αρνήθηκε ότι οι δικαστές είχαν απαιτήσει το λιθοβολισμό του σκύλου. Αλλά ένα από τους διευθυντές του Σώματος επιβεβαίωσε την έκθεση στην Yedioth Ahronoth. " Διατάχτηκε από τους ραβίνους, λόγω της θλίψης που είχε προκαλέσει το δικαστήριο, " είπε. Το μέλος και  κοινωνικό ενεργό στέλεχος του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου της Ιερουσαλήμ Rachel Azaria, έστειλε μια κατεπείγουσα επιστολή στο γενικό εισαγγελέα, που τον καλεί  " να εξετάσει την υπόθεση". Η οργάνωση Let the Animals Live αρχειοθέτησε μια καταγγελία στην αστυνομία ενάντια στο ραβίνο Levin.

A Jerusalem rabbinical court recently sentenced a wandering dog to death by stoning. The cruel sentence stemmed from the suspicion that the spirit of a famous secular lawyer, who insulted the court's judges 20 years ago, had been transferred into the dog's body.

 

Several weeks ago, according to the Behadrei Hadarim website, a large dog entered the Monetary Affairs Court near the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim. The dog scared the court's visitors and, to their surprise, refused to leave even after they attempted to drive him away.

 

One of the judges suddenly recalled that about 20 years ago, a famous secular lawyer who insulted the court was cursed by the panel of judges, who wished that his spirit would move on to the body of a dog (considered an impure animal by Halacha). The lawyer passed away several years ago.

 

Still offended, one of the judges sentenced the poor animal to death by stoning, recruiting the neighborhood's children to carry out the order. Luckily, the dog managed to escape.

 

The head of the court, Rabbi Avraham Dov Levin, denied that the judges had called for the dog's stoning. But one of the court's managers confirmed the report to Yedioth Ahronoth.

 

"It was ordered by the rabbis because of the grief he had caused the court," he said. "They didn't issue an official ruling, but ordered the children outside to throw stones at him in order to drive him away. They didn't think of it as cruelty to animals, but as an appropriate way to 'get back at' the spirit which entered the poor dog."

 

Jerusalem City Council Member and social activist Rachel Azaria sent an urgent letter to the attorney general, calling on him to "deal with the criminals". The Let the Animals Live organization filed a complaint with the police against Rabbi Levin.

Una corte rabbinica di Gerusalemme recentemente ha sentenziato un cane errante a morte con la pena della lapidazione. La crudele sentenza θ provenuta dal sospetto che lo spirito di un famoso avvocato, secolare, che ha insultato la corte rabinica 20 anni fa, era stato reincarnato nel corpo del cane.

Parecchie settimane fa, secondo il Web site di Behadrei Hadarim, un grande cane era entrato nella Corte Monetaria di Affari, alle vicinanze del ultra-Ortodosso quartiere di Mea Shearim. Il cane ha spaventato gli ospiti della Corte, e per loro sorpresa, rifiutava di andare via, anche dopo che hanno tentato di guidarlo fuori.

Uno dei giudici si θ ricordato improvvisamente, che circa 20 anni fa, un famoso avvocato secolare, che ha insultato la Corte, θ stato maledetto dalla giuria, ed hanno desiderato che il suo spirito passasse verso il corpo di un cane (considerato un animale impuro da Halacha). Ancora offesi, uno dei giudici ha sentenziato, per il povero animale, la pena di morte, lapidandolo, ordinando I bambini del quartiere, ad effettuare l'ordine. Fortunatamente, il cane θ riuscito a fuggire.

La Testa della corte, il rabbino Avraham Dov Levin, ha negato che i giudici avιvano richiesto la lapidazione del cane. Ma uno dei dirigenti della corte ha confermato il rapporto a Yedioth Ahronoth.

" Θ stato ordinato dai rabbini a causa del dolore che aveva causato alla corte, " ha detto. " Non hanno edito un verdetto ufficiale, ma hanno ordinato i bambini del quartiere a gettare le pietre al cane per guidarlo via.

Non hanno considerato questo gesto come un atto di crudeltα, bensμ, come un atto apropriato a punire lo spirito del avocato che si θ reincarnato nel povero cane."

Il membro del Consiglio del Comune di Gerusalemme e attivista sociale, Rachel Azaria, ha mandato una lettera urgente, al  Procuratore Generale, invitandolo "a fare i conti con i criminali". L' organizzazione "Let the Animals Live" ha posto un reclamo alla polizia contro il rabbino Levin.
